Thanks for visiting the Huguenot Street Farm website! We
are located on historic Huguenot Street right in the heart of New Paltz,
New York, about an hour and half north of NYC. Over 125 varieties of vegetables,
cut flowers, and fruits are grown here on 77 acres of In the last few years, American food crops have broken too many of the wrong kinds of records. Record levels of toxic chemicals remaining on our supermarket vegetables (including in USDA Certified Organic products), record gallons of oil used per pound of vegetables harvested, record number of days an insipid box-shaped tomato can still "look fresh" on the supermarket shelf, and... no surprise, according to the USDA's own research, record lows of the naturally occuring vitamins and minerals that should be found in our foods. In this kind of an environment, it is an absolute joy to provide the exception. You can see a video about how we grow your food here. (It's supposed to make you laugh...)... And now there's a second video about my special skills with weather forecasting for the farm and Kate's GREAT love of Bok Choi....
